And it begins. President elect Joe Biden has appointed a Michael McCabe, who formerly advised DuPont Chemical on how to avoid regulations, to a position with the EPA. As a result of McCabe’s efforts, DuPont was able to dump over 7,100 tons of toxic waste in West Virginia (which made its way into the drinking water of 100,000 people), and avoid prosecution. Nice. Erin Brokovich, yes, that Erin Brokovich, has written this excellent piece for The Guardian.
